Papa Joe is mad and he wants someone to pay!

Papa Joe is highly upset and I can understand- his son's death was ruled a homicide this past week. In an interview with the Today show since the ruling, Joe Jackson said that someone should be held responsible for his son's death! Dr. Murray please report to the dance floor! Chris Brown issues a statement regarding Larry King Live Interview!

Chris Brown has issued a statement through his record company, Jive Records. Since the tidbit of his much anticipated interview with Larry King was released, the Internet has been buzzing-- Many are questioning what he said about not remembering what occurred on that faithful evening-- well as I said earlier, I charged it to the editing because I don't think he could have been in his right mind to say something like that. Check it out:

There have been reports on the internet that I didn’t remember what happened that night with Rihanna. I want to try and set things straight.

That 30 seconds of the interview they used of me was taken from a one hour interview during which that same question was asked something like 4 or 5 times -- and when you look at the entire interview you will see it is not representative of what I said.

The first four times – or how ever many times it was - I gave the same answer -- which was that I didn’t think it was appropriate for me to talk about what happened that night. I said it was not right for me and it really wasn’t fair to Rihanna. The fifth time – or whatever it was – I just misspoke. I was asked, “Do you remember doing it?” and I said, “No.”

Of course I remember what happened. Several times during the interview, my mother said that I came to her right afterwards and told her everything. But it was and still is a blur. And yes, I still can’t believe it happened because it is not me or who I am or is what happened like anything I have ever done before.

As I have said several times previously, I am ashamed of and sorry for what happened that night and I wish I could relive that moment and change things, but I can’t. I take full responsibility for my actions. What I have to do now is to prove to the world that this was an isolated incident and that is not who I am and I intend to do so by my behavior now and in the future.

The Carters attended the "Answer the Call" press conference this morning. Jay will hold a benefit on September 11th-same day that his Blueprint 3 album drops. He is hoping to raise 1 million dollars from the concert. The proceeds will benefit the New York Police and Fire Widows’ and Children’s Benefit. Great cause!

In addition to appearing on the Larry King Live show (set to air this Wednesday at 9PM), Chris Brown has granted his first print interview to People Magazine. In it, he tells People that he hasn't fallen out of love with his ex-girl Rihanna:

"I never fell out of love with her," he says. "That just wouldn't go away."

He also talks about how he felt right after the incident:

"I was distraught," he tells People magazine of how he felt immediately following the assault. "I went to my mom on the same night and told [her] what happened and broke down."

The magazine hits news stands this Friday!

Update: DJ AM's death not a suicide!

Look at that-- I was just saying that there was a possibility that DJ AM may have become dependent and addicted to pain killers after last year's plane crash and look at what TMZ is reporting. (Mama didn't go to school in vain-- not to toot my own horn but beep, beep- I know this substance abuse field) Check out the story right here.

DJ AM discusses drug use in recent interview!

Talk about ironic-- Here's a recent interview that DJ AM did with MTV. He was gearing up for the launch of his reality show which explores substance abuse users in their addiction. Geez! A recovering addict himself who had been sober for about 11 years, DJ AM was found dead of an apparent overdose this past Friday. I was telling one of my girlfriends that he probably became addicted to pain killers which I'm sure he was given after the plane crash which sent him into a doozy. When you're an addict and you relapse on a substance that may have not been your particular drug of choice, it will not take long before you go back to what you really like (There was a crack pipe found next to his body)! I can't say it enough, this is a tragic story.

It's Monday: Ciara and Kim

Ciara and Kim Kardashian hit up the Million Milkshakes this past weekend. The paparazzi went wild when the girls stepped into the spot-- well according to Necolebitchie, they went wild when they saw Kim. Necole feels that Ciara who is much more relevant than Kim Kardashian- uhh, Cici is a bonafide star where as Kim is...--was practically ignored by the paparazzi. Necole even took on to twitter to vent her frustration on this matter. Some of the feedback that she received was that black celebrity photos don't garner as much "mula" as white celebrities with the exception of Beyonce, Rihanna, Halle Berry. After watching the video, I definitely see Necole's point but what are you going to do? This is Kim's hometown, she's this sexy creature (not taking anything away from Cici), she appeals more to the masses. If Amber Rose would have stepped in there, same hoopla. On the other hand, I don't recall Cici being photographed as much until she started hanging around Kim Kardashian, Britney Gastineau, and Lala-- it’s real talk–When she was in ATL of course she was snapped– but not like this. We have to keep it real on this one. Like a lot of people say, the industry has become so twisted. Think about it, let’s take Rihanna and I ride for her– hmm who was paying attention to her when she was dull with regards to her style– the minute she went from good girl gone bad, it was a done deal and her people knew that the formula worked- and now even more attention since the incident with her ex- controversy sells– sex sells– It’s sad but it’s a reality!Thoughts?
