Walmart is getting that money- Got casket?

Talk about having everything you need at one location! Toiletries (check), serving ware (check), furniture (check), babies' items (check), casket (check). Yes you read right- casket. Walmart has added a new item to their list of products. They are now selling caskets exclusively online.

Prime Minister Michele Pierre-Louis ousted!

The AP is reporting that Prime Minister of Haiti, Michele Pierre-Louis has been ousted by the Senate for what they are calling her lack of social and economic policies. Michele Pierre-Louis took office in September of 2008 and now a year later, she's a goner. Wonder if things will ever get better in Haiti?

Michele Pierre-Louis was removed when 18 of 29 senators voted for censure and dissolved the Cabinet. Most of the votes against the prime minister came from President Rene Preval's own Lespwa movement, which took control of the Senate after winning June elections. The dispute appeared to be a struggle for power within Lespwa, though critics accused Pierre-Louis of failing to do enough to alleviate poverty. "She doesn't have social and economic policies. It's the Inter-American Development Bank and World Bank that are making economic decisions," said Sen. Joseph Lambert. Pierre-Louis took office in September 2008 as Haiti was being pummeled by four tropical storms and hurricanes that killed nearly 800 people, left tens of thousands homeless and caused $1 billion in damage. An educator who headed the Haitian branch of George Soros' Open Society Institute, she filled a post that had been vacant for five months after senators dismissed her predecessor during riots over the high cost of food. In the past five years, politically tumultuous Haiti has ousted a president in a bloody rebellion and has now gone through five prime ministers. Her removal comes as former U.S. President Bill Clinton, a U.N. special envoy to Haiti, has been trying to assure international investors that the country has regained stability.
Pierre-Louis alluded to that campaign in a letter to the Senate that announcing she would not attend the debate on her ouster.
"At a time when efforts are under way for Haiti to join the international community and it has possibilities of investment, national and international, to better the lives of the Haitian population ... my government decides not to participate in this hearing," she wrote.
She added, "I leave the senators of the republic to face their responsibility in front of the nation."

Rapper Shyne deported back to Belize!

Rapper Shyne was deported back to his country of Belize on October 28th after serving a 9 year sentence in Buffalo, NY for his role in a shooting incident that took place at a club in New York City. His father happens to be the Prime Minister of Belize.

Power 105.1 held their Powerhouse Concert in New Jersey. Chris Brown, Keri Hilson, The-Dream, Day 26 are some of the artists that performed. According to Gossiponthis, Chris Brown brought the house down- The crowd went CRAZY when he came out. I know earlier this week, Necolebitchie had reported on the event, and had different tweets from fellow artists and fans on Chris' performance. I guess he's back!

Recap of RHOA- Reunion Show/Part 1!

Last night, I tuned in to the reunion show of the Real Housewives of Atlanta- I know it would be more appropriate to wait until Part 2 airs next week in order to give my recap but guess what? I'm grown therefore I can do as I please. Just kidding-- I couldn't wait to give my two cents.

Let's go! Hands down, Kandi was the realest. I appreciated her candor. She was open about her relationship with AJ, the issues with AJ and her mother- although her mother had been right about some things, but could have gone about it a different way- Something that caught my attention- the cause of death... Maybe the guy that he got into a fight with will walk Scott Free because from what she explained, AJ had no bruises on him, dude was more messed up than AJ. Could the coroner's preliminary report of Sickle Cell Anemia playing a part in his death be true? I guess we'll have to wait to find out. These women's facial expressions killed me throughout-rolling of the eyes... Geez! And what's up with them not wanting to answer this question and that question? Why wouldn't it be normal for Andy to press the issue on Nene and Kim's roller coaster of a friendship? These broads were acting so brand new. They're not going to talk about it. Child bye! Like Qaadir would say: "You ain't nobody's Beyonce". Last season, they were so open to put everything out, and now they're acting mysterious. Lisa's story about her house situation. Hmmm.... all this explanation about acres, subdivisions, short sale. I didn't buy it. I believe the house went into foreclosure. Hey, a lot of people are being affected by this. All that real estate talk wasn't necessary. I felt it was just too much. Sheree is about Sheree. What else is new? Overall, I give it a 5!

C'mon, this really needs to stop!

So, I'm on my boy FreddyO's website and I see this picture of Keyshia Cole's little sister Elite and older sister Neffe's hairstylist Dariel- Guess what? They're getting their own reality show. Tim Hardaway Jersey Retirement Celebration!

On Tuesday, October 27th, I attended 5 times NBA All Star Tim Hardaway's Jersey Retirement party held at Epic Lounge in Miami. Big Ups to Kimberly Shenker-Bacardi for putting on such a successful event. I think all of those in attendance will agree that Tim felt the love that evening-- family, friends, associates all gathered up to help close out a wonderful chapter (maybe I shouldn't say that.. weirder things have happen when it comes to retirement- Michael Jordan, Jay-Z...) of this successful athlete's life. On October 28th, at the Miami Heat's kick-off game against the New York Knicks, Tim was honored and his #10 jersey was retired.

NFL Larry Johnson is in trouble for using anti-gay slurs!

Kansas City Chief running back Larry Johnson found himself in some hot water when he used anti-gay slurs when speaking to reporters in the locker room. Ohoh- that's not good!

Larry Johnson has used three anti-gay slurs in the past 24 hours after he was confronted about using his Twitter account to rip his head coach Todd Haley. When reporters entered the Chiefs locker room on Monday, Johnson said he was not answering any questions until Thursday. He then uttered this under his breath, according to radio KCSP and Kent Babb of the Kansas City Star: “Get your faggot asses out of here.”

Kansas City Chiefs running back Larry Johnson has used three anti-gay slurs in the past 24 hours after he was confronted about using his Twitter account to rip his head coach Todd Haley.

Last night, when Johnson got into a Twitter spat with a fan, he called the fan a “fag," according to Yahoo Sports, which monitored the exchange: “think bout a clever diss then that wit ur fag pic. Christopher street boy. Is what us east coast cats call u.”

“Christopher street boy” is an obvious reference to gays for the Christopher Street gay pride parade in New York. The fan made mention of Johnson pleading guilty after allegedly spitting in the face of a female bar patron.

Johnson went off on Twitter (his account once public, is now private) after the Chiefs (1-6) lost to San Diego, 37-7. He wrote that his father had more experience than first-year Chiefs head coach Todd Haley: “My father played for the coach from “rememeber the titans”. Our coach played golf. My father played for redskins briefley. Our coach. Nuthn”

“Fag,” “Faggot” and “Christopher street boy.” The NFL (if not the Chiefs) must fine and suspend Larry Johnson or else it condones the use of such language by its players.

The league has launched an investigation regarding the incident. You think in this day in age people should be more cautious, but we have to keep in mind that people are human and they make mistake. I foresee, a fine, an apology, and a PSA with GLADD. Good luck homie!
