Please explain to me why this family would put themselves out there like that? What's so great about consuming all that d*mn food? GTFOH. SMDH... C'mon now. And the purpose of this show is..... Teddy Riley Releases Statement Regarding Fight With Daughters!

Singer/Producer Teddy Riley released a statement to TMZ regarding the alleged smack down of his daughters.

Due to recent events, I am compelled to respond in detail to accusations made against me, by my daughters.

I love my Daughters, but I will not allow my children to disrespect me in my home. Contrary to what I have been accused of, I would never beat my children.

Perhaps, I should have been a stronger disciplinarian as they were growing up. I worked very hard so that my children would want for nothing.

In hindsight, I see that it was a mistake to give them everything they wanted so that they could have the childhood I never had. Unfortunately, they have taken me, and the privileged life I have given them, completely for granted.

Instead of being appreciative and realizing how fortunate they are, my children have an inflated sense of entitlement and expectation without having to work or earn their way.

However, my 'children' are no longer children, they are adults and I am trying to instill in them values and a work ethic of their own. My mother always told me "too many grown people can't live in one house" so I encourage them to have their own homes if they cannot abide by the rules of mine. I am not an uptight Dad, I am as hip as they come but I will not tolerate being taken advantage of or disrespected, especially in my home.

I've been working since the age of 14, I bought my first car by myself. Nobody gave me a car. My kids don't even remember their first car. I grew up with 6 of us in an apartment fighting over one bathroom. My kids have never had to share a bathroom, let alone a bedroom.

I'm asking everyone to let this one go... I'm only being a good parent. I'm a great father and everyone who knows me, knows this is true.

Tiger Woods In Rehab????

Geez, we're still not done with this Tiger Woods story I see. Reports are now surfacing that Tiger entered Rehab. For what, I don't know. According to X17Online, the golfer has checked into a rehabilitation center in Arizona. According to a source (you know there's always a source), he has been there for a few days: “He has been there for a few days since his handlers forced him to enter the program. They feel that if he blames his cheating on addiction, the public will forgive him.” Whatever. Dude can't catch a break!

Teddy Riley Accused Of Beating Down Daughters With Rock Band Guitar!

Earlier this afternoon news broke out that former Guy/Backstreet member, super producer Teddy Riley had beat his 18 year old daughter and her older sister down with a guitar from the video game Rock Band. In addition, one of the daughters had filed a restraining order. Sidebar, I tell you, America Land of the Free. Child, where I come from, I couldn't call the cops, put no restraining order on my father for beating my *ss. The cop that I called would beat my *ss along with my father. I'm just saying.... Anyway, back to the story. TMZ reported the following:

Taja Riley was granted a temporary restraining order against her dad -- claiming 43-year-old Teddy abused her and her older sister by "stomping, punching and bashing them" in his L.A. home on December 23. In the documents, filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Taja claims at one point Teddy, "lifted a Rock Band guitar and threatened to kill person(s) w/ it."Taja claims she suffered several injuries in the alleged altercation -- including "bashes to temple, contusion on face" and "pain in knee."Teddy has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Taja. The next hearing is set for January.

Well low and behold, I turn on the computer this evening, other blogs are reporting that this mess hit Twitter. Well you know how things go now; no need for TV, Newspapers, just get on Twitter for the latest news. Teddy tweeted that he would do it again if he had to. Teddy's daughters are accusing him of being with a gold digger and that's why he attacked them, he is siding with his chick and blah, blah, blah. I can't keep up.

Reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian and boyfriend Scott Disick introduced baby Mason to the world in the new Life & Style magazine on newsstands now. This is what they have to say about parenthood:

This picture is that of Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab. He tried to blow up Northwest Flight 253 from Amsterdam to Detroit on Christmas Day, but managed only to set his crotch, legs and seat on fire. Part of an explosive device that failed to take down a plane last week was sewn into Abdulmutallab's underwear (Source).

Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula claimed responsibility Monday for the attack, saying it was in retaliation for alleged U.S. strikes on Yemeni soil. In a message written in Arabic, dated Saturday and published Monday on radical Islamist Web sites, the group hailed the "brother" who carried out the "heroic attack." The group said it tested a "new kind of explosives" in the attack, and hailed the fact that the explosives "passed through security." "There was a technical problem that resulted in a non-complete explosion," the message said. Al Qaeda threatens with more attacks.Scary!

Bye-Bye To "The Tyra Show"!

After five seasons, Tyra Banks is saying goodbye to the The Tyra Show. 2010 will end the successful run of the mini mogul's stint as a talk show host. Talk about following in Oprah's foot steps.

“This will be the last season of The Tyra Show,” Banks tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years.”
Wrapping at the end of its fifth season in the spring of 2010, it will be lights out for the show that brought viewers memorable weave-exposing, cellulite-revealing and tear-jerking moments. Banks will focus on the launch of Bankable Studios, a N.Y.-based film production company currently reviewing possible projects. Sticking to her mission, Banks aims to bring “positive images of women to the big screen,” says an industry insider".

I wish her all the best. I never could get into the Tyra Show though, I'm not even going to lie.

You leave the blogosphere for a few days and you come back and all h*ll breaks loose. There are rumors swirling that singer Mary J. Blige slapped her husband Kendu while they were at her album release party at club M2 in NYC last week. Word on the street is that Mary brought the Yonkers out and jacked him up because Kendu was supposedly checking out a waitress. Her reps deny that she slapped him but instead was trying to break up a fight between Kendu and her brother. Celebrities such as Beyonce, Jay-Z, Irv Gotti, Angie Martinez were in the house to help Mary celebrate. Dayum! Peep the video obtained by the New York Post. Thoughts?
