Shock Jock Howard Stern took to the airwaves to speak about Oscar nominee, Gabourey Sidibe; I don't think I should say speak but rather like Necolebitchie said "Slammed". So I listened to the clip; he's not called the shock jock of the radio world for his health, he doesn't bite his tongue for absolutely no one. Here is an excerpts from the clip:There’s the most enormous, fat black chick I’ve ever seen. She is enormous. You feel bad because everyone’s pretending she’s a part of show business and she’s never going to be in another movie,” Stern said. “She really should have gotten the Best Actress award because she’s never going to have another shot. What movie is she gonna be in?” "Blind Side 2,’” Stern suggested. “She could be the football player, take out the whole front line.”
Lawd Howard, that's going in. Let's play devil's advocate for a minute; is he saying what a lot of people have on their minds? Let's forget for a minute that he called her "ugly" or unattractive. Will Hollywood be calling on Gaby for more roles? We know that Hollywood is a superficial world and they have these standards that they set.... Gaby has a larger than life personality. Her spirit is breathtaking. She's fun, witty, and smart. Will those characteristics be enough to carry her to superstar status? Thoughts??? I need feedback. I love Gaby and I want to believe that she will make it against all odds but am I being realistic? Will talent outshine prejudice? Speak on it peeps!
