This past Thursday, May 27th, I was invited to attend an exclusive blogger's event "Movie and a Makeover" sponsored by Chevy and Rik Rak Salon Boutique & Bar! Let me just say, this was VIP treatment all the way. First off, if you've never been to Rik Rak Salon I suggest you stop by to check it out. The salon is owned by husband and wife team, Ric and Racquel Watters. Talk about a hip facility! The energy in the place is insane. Shout out to my girl, celebrity hairstylist Lalah who has hooked up my hair a few times. That girl can do some "huurr." As stated before, we were treated like the creme de la creme. Pink carpet, complimentary manicures, blowouts, great food, wine and champagne from the Rik Rak bar (sidebar: can we say they have the best hummus!). I opted for a mani; my choice was one of my favorite colors by OPI, Black Cherry. I want to thank Adam of Rik Rak for coordinating all the services provided to us. He deserves a big thumbs up! After getting beautified, eating, and chopping it up with some fantastic ladies of the Miami blog world, we were chauffeured to the Lincoln Road theatre in a Chevy Tahoe to catch the premiere of the Sex and the City 2 movie. Yes guys, Chevy provided us with a few cars (2 Tahoes and a Traverse) and drivers for our transportation needs. The Chevy Tahoe which I rode in, talk about extreme comfort. Stop by any Chevy dealership and test it out. Shout out to our personal driver John who was nothing but courteous. I want to thank Stephanie, Alex, Angie of Chevy and Lisa, Racquel and Ric of Rik Rak for a memorable evening and those great goodie bags.
