Talk About A Woman Scorned!

I'm sure I'm late with this story but I thought I'd give it a mention anyway because on the real, it's very amusing. Some women are not to be messed with... I guess some guys never learn. Charles Phillips, an advisor on President Obama's Economic Recovery team as well as owner of the company Oracle must be sweating more bullets than Tiger Woods these days. His former lover, YaVaughnie Wilkins put his *ss on blast. Home girl took out billboards, several ones might I add, in Manhattan (3 to be exact), Atlanta, and in San Francisco. And when I say billboards, don't be fooled by the picture. It's not a declaration of her love, but instead she is inviting people into the world that she shared with her lover of 8+ years. The billboards all had a website address where one could visit and see pictures, valentine cards, event tickets, letters.... Dayum! Talk about being caught red handed!

"On first glance, it could be the ultimate Valentine’s Day card — a gigantic billboard that towers over New York’s Times Square, featuring a happy couple with the text: “You are my soul mate forever, Charles & YaVaughnie.”But as every scorned lover knows, looks can be deceiving. This billboard — which also has gone up in Atlanta and San Francisco — is the ultimate act of revenge — a very public retaliation by a dumped mistress aimed at a very wealthy, and married, businessman who is an adviser to President Obama. YaVaughnie Wilkins posted the signs after she learned that her lover, Charles E. Phillips — president and director of the tech conglomerate Oracle Corporation and a member of Obama’s Economic Recovery Advisory Board — had reconciled with his wife, the New York Post reported. The billboards — there are three in New York and one apiece in Atlanta and San Francisco, where Phillips lives — may have cost Wilkins up to $250,000, at an estimated $50,000 each. After the billboards surfaced, Phillips fessed up to his longtime affair through a spokesman on Thursday. “I had an 8-and-a-half-year serious relationship with YaVaughnie Wilkins. The relationship with Ms. Wilkins has since ended, and we both wish each other well,” he said. The billboards also feature a URL of the Web site www.charlesphillipsandyavaughniewilkins.com, which features photos of Phillips’ and Wilkins’ lengthy relationship."

with wifey Karen

How the h*ll did he live this double life for all of these years? Why am I so surprised? Stranger things have happened. Necolebitchie had more juice on the story. Check it:

A friend of the couple says that Charles Phillips portrayed himself as being legally divorced in 2003 when he met YaVaughnie. They attended professional and family events together and lived together for majority of the eight years before purchasing a home together in 2008. When his Oracle bio came out, and they inquired why his “ex-wife” Karen was listed as “His wife”, he claimed the company pulled an old bio from his Morgan Stanley Days. Throughout the 8 years, he introduced YaVaughnie to many people as his “girlfriend” including his son, however his wife didn’t file for divorce until June of 2008. They never went through with the divorce and he and his wife recently reconciled.
Dang homie, you ain't no joke. What's up with these nerdy looking dudes pulling these stunts? I guess you really can't judge a book by it's cover.

Yavaughnie's house
Sh*t, I would be trippin' too if I had to give that up...

A Rich Kid's Birthday Party- Justin Combs' Edition!

Diddy's first born, Justin turned 16 last week. We all know that Diddy is known for his extravagant parties so you better believe that he didn't sell his little Justin short. "The Prince of New York" (Diddy crowned himself the King of New York long time ago...) themed party was held at M2 Lounge in New York City. MTV also taped an episode of "My Super Sweet 16" during the fiesta. Must be nice to be Diddy's kid. Celebrities such as Jim Jones, Nicki Minaj, Lil' Kim, Fab were all in attendance and performed. Justin arrived with rapper Nicki Minaj on his arm. Again, must be nice to be Diddy's kid. During the party, Diddy presented Justin with a $10,000 check which was donated to the Haiti Earthquake Relief. That's what's up.

WTF Is Kelis Rockin'?

Either singer Kelis is on some major Lady Gaga sh*t or she done lost her everlasting mind because Nas hasn't been keeping up with his child support payments. She made an appearance at the First Annual Data Awards rocking some weird getup to say the least. I know she's usually an innovator but geez, this is really not a good look!

Alicia Keys engaged to Swizz Beatz???

After a much needed hiatus, I'm back peeps. I can do my best to try and bring you up to date with the most juiciest stories that have gone down for the last two weeks but if I don't it's ok... we'll go from here because as we all know gossip in the Celebrity world keeps on swirlin'!

USA today is reporting that singer Alicia Keys and Producer/Rapper Swizz Beatz are engaged. What? Did he already divorce Mashonda? I know I've been out of pocket for two weeks but I never heard anything about a divorce being final between those two. Anyway, check out the story:
Alicia Keys had a lot to smile about on her 29th birthday Jan. 25: an engagement ring from her producer beau, Swizz Beatz!

A pal tells UsMagazine.com that Beatz, 31 (who is currently divorcing wife Mashonda), proposed with a 7-carat sparkler right before her big day; the happy couple were photographed strolling on a Hawaii beach the day of the proposal, Jan. 24.

Keys’ rep denies she is engaged, but another friend reveals, “They are currently in Hawaii celebrating the engagement and her birthday. She feels blessed.” Adds the pal: “She is thrilled. She is with the man who has inspired so much of her music and her new album [The Element of Freedom].”

Swizz is equally smitten with Keys.”What we have is so precious,” he gushed to the New York Daily News last year.

I'll Be Back! Eventually...

Due to the tragedy that has hit my country, I will not be posting until further notice. I need to regroup guys. I thank you for your continued support of mitchsdailydish. I know that life must go on, but right now I'm not in that place. Today makes a week since the eartquake destroyed my homeland and at this point, I need to concentrate on helping in each possible way that I can. I'll be back, I promise.

My Beloved Haiti, Where Have You Gone?

Someone told me "On dit qu'un pays ne meurt jamais; Haiti est mort Mardi a 5 heures". "They say a country never dies; Haiti died at 5 on Tuesday." My heart cringed after hearing that statement; I cried non stop. What have we lost? So much, in so little time. My emotions: despair, anxious, disbelief, hopelessness, hurt, desperation, sadness, anger, hope, guilt, helpless, confused... I have been through a lot in my life and God has always shown me favor; even when I wanted to give up I kept pushing because HE always came through. One of my favorite quotes has always been "God doesn't give us anything that we cannot handle". Why do I feel that I'm cracking by the hour? Why do I feel that this is one of my least favorite quotes at this point. Am I being selfish? Truth be told, those currently in Haiti are living this HORRIBLE NIGHTMARE firsthand. Am I being real? Am I so hurt that I can't get passed it? Some say it will take Haiti 50 years to get back to normal. 50 years???? I don't have that kind of time or do I? Again, am I allowed to question? I've been on a roller coaster ride since January 12Th, 2010 and it still hasn't reached my stop for me to get off. How can I be effective in my daily life or work after THIS? How do I pick myself back up? How do I go back to doing what I do best? How do I stop crying? How do I stop screaming? How do I keep Believing? How do I make a difference? How do I look at life after this experience? How do I pick up the pieces? How do I see the light at the end of the tunnel....
