Jay-Z and Beyonce Overload!

Jay-Z and Beyonce were snapped while taking a boat ride in Miami this past weekend. I want to see babies ya'll! Cute, cute, cute! They were in town for Jay-Z's opening show of his Blueprint 3 tour held at BankAtlantic Center in Ft. Lauderdale on Saturday, February 20th. I heard Jay's set was sick. Trey Songz opened up for him and women lost their everlasting minds when he came out. That's a come up for Trey though- being on tour with Jay-Z! People were sleeping on this brother.

Oh Nooooooo- D-Nice and Malinda Williams Split!

This is so sad.... I can't even believe it. DJ/Photographer Derrick "Dnice" and actress Malinda Williams have split. The two seperated back in October 2009. The couple married in August 2008. Malinda has a son from her previous marriage to actor Mekhi Phifer and D-Nice has a daughter. Dayum! Dayum! This isn't a good day. They were so cute together. Here's D-Nice's statement:

“I ask that our privacy be honored during this extremely personal time. I thank my family nd fans for their endless support.”

Sade Opens Up at #1!

Singer Sade opened up at #1 on Billboard's charts! Sade is just that chick! I hope there weren't any doubters out there.

Last week Sade, the Nigerian-born singer whose song “Smooth Operator” has been a radio staple for a quarter-century, released “Soldier of Love” (Epic), her first album in 10 years, and it zoomed past all competition. It reached No. 1 with a remarkable 502,000 sales, according to Nielsen SoundScan, a better debut week than Jay-Z, U2 and Britney Spears had for their latest albums. “Soldier of Love” has received strong reviews.

“Soldier of Love,” Sade’s first No. 1 album in 24 years, runs contrary to prevailing sales trends. Her previous album, “Lovers Rock,” sold 370,000 copies in its first week in 2000. Since then overall album sales have dropped by more than 50 percent, and most artists have gotten used to the pattern of gradual sales erosion; Sade’s sales — at least for this first week — have increased significantly.

Congrats to her! I bump that album everyday! It's the bomb!

Disgraced golfer, Tiger Woods is back on the scene as he was spotted jogging near his home in Florida. According to his agent, Tiger will hold a press conference tomorrow to address his past and future. The conference will only be open to a select group of his associates. Moreover, reporters will not be allowed to ask any questions. Geez! A press conference. This is some drama mess to me. Shouldn't his relationship issues be between him and his wife? I don't even understand how he ended up in rehab for a sexual addiction. He'll be aight! The minute he gets back on the golf course, he'll be the people's hero again!

This Is What Young Hollywood Looks Like????

I know I'm late on this story, but I know one thing, it's never too late to share. Anyway, here we go. A couple of weeks ago, Vanity Fair came out with their new issue highlighting "Young Hollywood of 2010". The cover sent a lot of people in an uproar as it was deemed racist. The cover clearly only highlights young, skinny "Caucasian" individuals. When I first saw the cover, I did think to myself, why Gabourey Sidibe, break out star, Oscar nominee might I add, wasn't featured on the cover but yet an interview of the young actress was found inside of the mag? Where was Zoe Saldana? Wasn't she in the biggest blockbuster (Avatar) of the year? Something is not right here. Well the ever so gracious, Gabourey Sidibe had this to say about the snub:

“Was I satisfied? Yeah, well… I mean, I come from a world where I’m not on covers and I’m not in magazines at all. And so I was happy to be in the magazine. At first I thought, ‘Hmm, should I be there? Then I very quickly got over it. I think if I were a part of that shoot I would have felt a little left out anyway. I would have felt a little like… whether or not I should have been there. [It] doesn’t matter, because I wasn’t on it and I’m excited to be mentioned anywhere, and it doesn’t matter to me where I’m not mentioned.”
