Suspect Arrested in Football Player's Death!

A suspect was arrested on Friday for the murder of Florida International University football player Kendall Berry. Quentin Wyche surrended to police on Friday.

Wyche had spent a few days on the football team as a walk-on before being let go. He also worked in Berry's dormitory. Reportedly, the two got into an altercation Thursday night after Wyche bothered Berry's girlfriend and threw cookies in her face. Now the Miami Herald is reporting that after Wyche fatally stabbed Berry outside of a campus rec center, he taunted his victim. "That's what he gets... I told y'all," he yelled, according to witnesses. Wyche is charged with second-degree murder with a deadly weapon.

A memorial was held today on campus for Berry. Again I repeat, stop the violence.

I heard about this a while ago but didn't pay it too much attention because we know the world of celebrities, there's always a rumor. Anyway, RHOA, Kim Zolciak is stepping out of the closet; she's admitting to being bisexual. Is that considered out of the closet? I don't know, but Ms. Thang has kicked Big Poppa to the curb and has a new boo on the brain (and other places- know what I mean). Check out her interview from Life & Style Magazine:

L&S: Was there chemistry the first time you and Tracy met?

Kim: Well, we were both going through heartbreak at the time. I had split up with Big Poppa, and she had just ended a relationship she had been in for three years. The first night we met, we just connected on a different level. We ended up talking for two hours. After that, we started working in the studio together, remixing, "Tardy for the Party". We gradually became closer. [I bet].

L&S: Can you pinpoint the moment when things became romantic?

Kim: There were sparks, but [physically] it was a gradual situation. Tracy made the first move. Our first kiss was passionate and exciting. [I bet]

L&S: Do you feel you're giving a voice to other bisexual parents?

Kim: I'm among the millions of parents who have been in gay or lesbian relationship. It hasn't been an easy road lately, but I feel there are nor mistakes in my life. Everything happens for a reason. To have the opportunity to speak for myself and to have other people understand what I'm going through is really special. I myself was confused and scared at first. Being able to speak from my heart and get this all out, it's a huge relief for me.

T.I. is Free but.... He Has A Curfew!

TMZ is reporting that rapper T.I. is finally free after serving a year and a day on gun charges. The rapper has been on house arrest for the last 30 days. There are still technicalities to be worked out though.

"T.I. will not be placed under 23 days of supervised released... which means he'll have to be home by 11PM unless he's performing, which he'll have to be in by 1PM. He will also have to complete 400 hours of community service and will be on probation for three years."

Good to have home though!

College Football Player Stabbed To Death!

Sad, sad, sad! Stop the violence. Florida International University Football player, Kendall Berry was stabbed to death last night on campus. He was 22 years old. According to police reports, an argument broke out between two individuals and one was stabbed to death. No arrests have been made. FIU President Mar B. Rosenberg said in a video statement that the university will not rest until an arrest is made.

``Our hearts are heavy,'' Rosenberg said. ``Last night, we lost a well-liked student who was a tireless worker in the classroom and on the ball field. His grief-stricken mother described Kendall as a negotiator, not a fighter.''

With such a promising future. Tragic.... R.I.P.

And Another One... Eva and Lance Are Dunzo!

So today, one of my peeps put me up to a story that I hadn't heard about (good looking out). model/actress Eva Marcille and fiance actor Lance Gross have called it quits. Sigh.... I'm very sad. First, Kim and Reggie, and now these two. They were slated to be married on July 17th.

Five months before their July 17th wedding, model/actress Eva Marcille 25 and fiance actor Lance Gross 28 have split up. When Essence.com reached out to the couple's representatives for confirmation about the break-up we were given this official joint statement.

"Lance Gross and Eva Marcille have mutually decided to end their relationship. The split is completely amicable," the statement reads.

Last month the blogosphere buzzed that Marcille and Gross, who had been together for nearly three years, were on the rocks, due to an alleged argument between the two during Super Bowl XLIV weekend in Miami.

Another sad day for moi. The splits are always "amicable". Yeah right!
