Hate & Haters!

Aight young world, I'm sure a lot of you can relate, when it comes to these things called "hate" and "haters" right ?

First let's start by defining the word "hate." It's an action word, meaning it's a verb, something that people do, next I describe it as, "having a strong dislike against, giving no approval" so now that we know the meaning, let's go all the way in!

I myself personally am tired of the individuals that daily express the love that they have for their haters, and how much they would like to acquire more haters. These are the people that I would like to one by one, point them out, and then have them point out their so called haters, for them to see that they really have NONE which would be a formal invite back to reality.

This whole epidemic of "I love my haters / I need more haters" is far beyond madd stupid, and I personally believe it was created amongst ignorance, & this movement continues to thrive off the energy of furthermore ignorant people. However, don't get a n**a wrong, YES, there are some people out there who REALLY do have haters, and because people feel either threatened by them or are envious of them.

But have you ever noticed how the situation pops off, for someone to be labeled as a "hater ?" Let's say for example you have 3 or 4 people in a room listening to the radio, and a Lil Wayne song comes on, let's just say 3 out of the 4 individuals get hyped about the song. They begin to question the 4th individual as to why they are not amped on the Lil Wayne song, and they simply say, "I'm not really feeling this joint, I don't like it." Instantly in unison the 3 gased individuals scream on the 4th individual, "AH, YOU'RE A HATER !" Again the definition of hate can be describe as "having a strong dislike against, giving no approval."

The 4th individual never said, "I hate this song" they simply said, "I'm not feeling it, I don't like the song" and without even being allowed the opportunity to explain their statement they were falsely accused of being a "hater." They could have had a legitimate reason for not feeling the track, whether it was the bars, the beat, or they may not even be a fan of Lil Wayne.

People need to break themselves out of this ignorant mentality of labeling someone as a "hater" because other individuals do not agree with your opinion or your outlook on a certain situation or a certain individual, everyone is not always going to cosign with you on sh*t.

So if you are one of the people in the world that are apart of this I Love/ I Need More Haters Epidemic, let's close out and end this session with three things:

1. I see you & so does the rest of the world !

2. Next time before you decide to label someone as a "hater" take the time out to find out the underlying reasons why the next individual doesn't agree with you, try seeing their point of view or outlook for a change; sh*t you might even find out that you probably don't even really like the sh*t that you're saying or trying to support.

3. SHUT THE FUCK UP & GO HAVE A SEAT ! ! !

A Rutgers University fresman, Tyler Clementi, jumped to his death last Wednesday because his roommate streamed his sexual encounter with another male student live on the internet.

What Is So Disrespectful About This????

This morning on my way to the plantation (yes, that's how I refer to it because I's become a slave and I don't see me breaking out of my chains anytime soon), I was listening to the Rickey Smiley show and Gary with the T was dishing on some entertainment stories. He stated that Beyonce's mother-in-law was enraged because Bey had been disrespectful. According to Gary, Beyonce and Jay had traveled to New Jersey to visit his mother; on that trip, Beyonce was seen gyrating in the streets and momma Carter was not happy. When I heard the story, I knew that this was just some exagerated bullsh*t but here's the video, and you can check it out for yourself.

One Of Bishop Long's Accusers Speaks Out!

One of the accusers spoke out for the first time since the scandal broke out. If you've been living on another planet, 4 men have come forward accusing Bishop Eddie Long of sexual coercion. Fox5 caught up with one of the accusers, Jamal Parris in CO where he spoke out. Check it out:

Shooting At University of Texas!

There was a shoot out at the University of Texas this morning. A gunman fired several shots then turned the gun on himself.

The University of Texas at Austin gave people the OK to leave campus Tuesday morning after a suspected gunman wielding an AK-47 fired shots and then turned the gun on himself inside a campus library.

The gunman died, said Robert Dahlstrom, chief of staff in the Austin Police Department. No one else was injured. For more on this story, visit Cnn.com.

I spotted this entry over at Necolebitchie.com. Former video vixen Melyssa Ford went in on Essence Magazine during an interview with Vibe. Check it out:

Right now Essence has on the cover, three of the most gorgeous black men ever created on the face of this f*cking Earth. They have Blair Underwood who has always done it for me, Boris Kodjoe whose definition in the dictionary is fine, and then they got Lance Gross—chocolatey loveliness. And you know what they f*cking have the nerve to have as the f*cking title of the cover story? “How To Keep Black Men Happy and Faithful.” And faithful! How dare you?! It makes me f*cking sick. [It’s like saying] ‘Women take note—how to keep your black men healthy and keep from straying from you ‘cause it’s your fault.’ And black women wrote this to their f*cking counterparts. As if to say, ‘If he strays, it’s your f*cking fault. You didn’t cook enough. You didn’t blow him enough. You didn’t f*ck him enough. You didn’t do enough to keep your f*cking man healthy or faithful.’ O-M-f*cking-G!

There are times where I’m surprised at the audacity that they f*cking have to put something like that on the cover, but they’re regarded as the soul sista’s bible. They accept a fucking elitist attitude on who they’ll have on the cover and who they won’t? Please. Who was on the cover last month? They were toasting to women above the age of 40, and how beautiful they look, but Naomi’s on the cover? Okay, yes. Granted, Miss Naomi walks a catwalk, and she’s still killing 16-year-old and 20-year-old girls. Yes, but she has serious anger management issues and an overwhelming sense of entitlement, and she is engaged in f*cking illegal activity that’s directly related to the blood diamond industry in Africa. And you’re putting her on a pedestal? Is that what you’re doing? But you won’t cover somebody like me because I based the earlier part of my career on my sexuality? My moral compass hasn’t been shifted off too much. My values are pretty good considering the causes that I believe in and places I’ve volunteered my time and given my money to, but you don’t feel the need to ever cover any single part of my career. You don’t even acknowledge that I even f*cking exist. But this is what you cover and this is the things you say? I think it’s hypocrisy.

After reading this, my thought process was the same as Necole's. Ummm... why all the profanity? Every sentence had the F word. She can forget about Essence ever featuring her on their cover. I'm just saying. I know Melyssa to be a very intelligent girl because I've read some of her blogs on Global Grind and have seen her in interviews; she is very eloquent but the way you expressed yourself in this interview ma, is not a good look. My opinion.

Update: I read a report that Melyssa stated that she had a private convo with her personal assistant who ran to the press with this ish... smh... don't know who to trust in this game.

Bishop Eddie Long Addresses Congregration! Or Did He really????

Bishop Eddie Long addressed the New Birth Congregation this morning. He was supposed to hold a press conference this past week regarding allegations made against him by 4 young men who accused him of sexual coercion but he canceled. Sooooooo, this morning, Bishop spoke to his followers. Check out what he had to say:

Bishop needs to take a big #hoesitdown por favor. He didn't say anything. We waited all week for this? But am I really surprised? Uhh no.

"I've been accused, I'm under attack. I want you to know, as I said earlier, that I am not a perfect man," he said. "But this thing, I'm going to fight."

Grand Opening Of Lil' Kim's Salon "Se Swa"

The orginal Barbie, Lil' Kim was in North Carolina yesterday for the launch of her hair salon Se Swa. The salon is co-owned by Lil' Kim and her cousin Katrise Jones. Janet Jackson was spotted in NYC over the week taking a stroll with her new boo, billionaire, Wissam Al Mana. I'm so digging the short do' on Janet.

Open Letter to Bishop Eddie Long....

God please forgive me. I know I've spent so much time on this topic but I just can't stop. Besides the fact that four men have come forward accusing Bishop Eddie Long of sexual coercion, I spotted this letter on MissJia.com and I had to share with my readers. I know that this is a serious matter but h*ll I've had a hard week and I need the laugh. Check it out:

Dear Bishop Headie Eddie Long,

“Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.” What better words to better describe your situation, and by situation, I mean your toupee. I write this letter to you with as much peace as our piece has enough room to breathe in those biker shorts you were sporting. This is a letter to express to you that I am in fact on your side. I’m lying.

You see Bishop; your name is to be earned in religious context. What you seemed to have done as use your title in the context of chess, all the while using your congregation and these three men (and I’m sure counting) and pawn. You’re totally doing it all wrong Headie Eddie. I’m not saying that you are guilty, but there are some things that just don’t add up – and I’m no Fantasia.


It’s been reported that you send your gym pics to some of the members in your congregation. I don’t know if this is a part of some type of Men’s Health Ministry that you are a part of or if Billy Blanks is starting a church or what? But…er…um…It all does not seem to help your case. These allegations bring up a concept that we all too often sweep under the rug because of preachers like you who lead their congregation to speak out against things they just don’t understand. Homosexuality in the Church is more real than your questionable sexuality, my dude. The sad fact of this whole scenario is that I see you paying off these men to keep them quiet and returning to your mega church. All the while you, your congregation, and the rest of the Christian world forgetting about it. Bishop, a warning: settling out of court will only make these allegations seem true. Just a heads up, and it seems you know heads really well.

It’s a shame that you are in this mess. I mean, no one sports vests like Aaron Neville like you can. However, I must leave you with this bit of advice. Next time you want to diddle with another boy’s fiddle, make sure they’re ugly. The ugly queens never talk and aren’t being checked for otherwise.

And Another One... 4th Man Files Lawsuit Against Bishop Eddie Long!

Jesus really needs to take the wheel on this one because Lord knows this ish is scandalous. A fourth man has come forward and filed a lawsuit against the most popular person of the week, Bishop Eddie Long.

Spencer LeGrande, named in a civil lawsuit filed Friday, claims he was 17 the first time the two had a sexual relationship while vacationing together in Nairobi, Kenya.

LeGrande, of Charlotte, N.C., alleges that the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church pastor gave him an Ambien, a popular prescription sleep aid, followed by a "prolonged hug," kissing and rubbing, according to the suit.

The suit claims the two shared a bed for the remainder of their trip.

Their first meeting was an emotional one, according to the suit. LeGrande, moved by one of Long's sermons, approached the pastor and began to cry. Long hugged the 15-year-old, assuring him, "I got you" ... "I will be your dad," the suit states. Soon after they began talking regularly by phone.

"Long would become angry if LeGrande failed to call Long on a frequent basis," according to the suit.

LeGrande alleges the bishop told him to call me "dad." Like two of the other young men claiming Long coerced them into having sex, LeGrande's father was not actively involved in the youth's life.

After a second trip to Kenya, Long encouraged LeGrande to move to Atlanta and attend Beulah Heights University, the suit states. LeGrande agreed, abandoning a potential college basketball career.

The boy's mother, Deborah LeGrande, wrote the bishop thanking him for looking after her son, according to the suit.

LeGrande, who says he was showered with gifts, including a Dodge Intrepid, was expected to "have no girlfriends." In return his tuition and expenses at Beulah were covered, the suit alleges.

The freshman college student was allowed to live, rent-free, in the Harwell House, owned by New Birth minister Anthony Moman, who, the suit claims, "knew of Long's sexually inappropriate conduct." LeGrande and Long maintained their intimate relationship, according to the suit.

After a few months, LeGrande was moved into a church-owned community center on Parsons Road. The suit alleges the two had sex in that home along with other church properties, including the bishop's private office.

Their relationship crumbled in early 2009 as LeGrande became "disillusioned and confused by Long’s actions and began pulling away from [the bishop]," according to the suit. Around that time, LeGrande dropped out of Beulah University and sought to distance himself from his spiritual mentor [source].

According to several reports, about 30 men have contacted the offices of B. J. Bernstein, the attorney for the plaintiff wanting to seek counsel regarding similar matters.
